What are your hours?
For all appointments and enquiries, please contact us on (02) 8622 1455.
Our practice hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays).
For urgent appointments please ask your GP or specialist to call us.
If you wish to book an appointment please email admin@westernsydneyvascular.com.au and someone will get back to you within one business day. Please leave your best contact number on your email.
Where are your rooms?
All our surgeons have consulting rooms at Westmead next door to Westmead Private Hospital.
Dr Daly and A/Prof Mohan and A/Prof Vicaretti consult at Norwest Private Hospital.
Dr Cho also consults at the SAN and Katoomba.
A/Prof Mohan also consults at the The SAN.

What hospitals do your doctors operate in?
Dr Daly operates in Blacktown Hospital, Mt Druitt Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital.
A/Prof Mohan operates at Norwest Private Hospital, Westmead Public and the SAN.
A/Prof Vicaretti operates at Westmead Public, Westmead Private Hospital, Auburn Public and Norwest Private Hospital.
What are the hours of your Vascular Ultrasound Clinic
Western Sydney Vascular has a state-of-the-art Doppler ultrasound clinic located in our suites next to Westmead Private Hospital as well as at in our rooms at Norwest Private Hospital and The SAN.
Ask your GP for a direct referral to our clinic which is open 8:00am-3.30pm Monday to Fridays.
All appointments can be made by calling 02 8622 1455.
Aged pensioners will be bulk billed for scans.
Remember you do not need to see the vascular specialist first to have a vascular scan in our lab.
Your GP can refer to us directly and a downloadable referral to our Westmead, Norwest and The SAN Labs for GPs to fill in can be printed here.
Do I have to see one of your specialists first to get a vascular scan in your onsite vascular lab?
No – your GP can refer directly to the lab, rather than having to see the vascular specialist first.
Aged pensioners will be bulk billed.

Note if you need more than one ultrasound scan on the same day a larger gap will apply in all cases.
How long does it take to get in to see a vascular surgeon at your practice?
Our doctors aim to see all patients within four to six weeks and urgent patients will be triaged and seen urgently with a call from your GP or specialist.
How do I get a referral from a GP to Western Sydney Vascular?
What do I need to bring with me to my first appointment?
- A current referral from your GP or specialist (unless this has already been forwarded to us)
- A list of your medications and allergies (including natural preparations such as fish oil and turmeric)
- Medicare or Veterans Affairs card and Private Health Insurance Card
- Insurance information (Private Health, Workers Compensation)
- Previous X-Rays / CTs / MRIs
- Copies of any medical notes or operation reports if you have had previous treatment / surgery.
- Please note we have a vascular lab onsite. Your GP can refer directly to this.
- Any notes or sizing details from your lymphoedema or lipoedema compression therapist for compression wear that we sell.
- If you are elderly bring a support person.
Will you process my payment on the spot?
If you wish to claim from Medicare directly you will to take your receipt to Medicare or do an online submission via the MyGov website.
What are acceptable means of payment?
NB. Amex is not accepted
How much will my first appointment cost?
Our doctors first visits fees range from $240-$300 approximately with $78 rebated by Medicare for initial consultation.
Subsequent consultations range from $120. Medicare rebates are approximately $39.
Each non bulk-billed scan will be out of pocket of approximately $50.
GP referrals are valid for 12 months and referrals from specialists are valid for three months.
Your GP referral is valid for 12 months from the date you first see the specialist, not the date it was issued by the GP.
