Assoc. Professor Mohan’s special interests include
- Carotid artery disease
- complex aortic and peripheral aneurysms
- Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
- Renal artery interventions
- Varicose veins
- Chronic leg ulcers
- Diabetic vascular disease
A/Prof Mohan trained at major vascular units in the United Kingdom, including St Mary’s Hospital London, Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and The Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
He further trained in endovascular techniques at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney and was appointed as a consultant vascular surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary from 2001 to 2006.
He also holds a public appointment at Westmead Hospital and is a Clinical Associate Professor with the University of Sydney.
A/Prof Mohan continues to be an examiner with the European Board of Vascular Surgery and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is the ANZ Counsellor for the Society of Vascular Surgery. ANZ SVS Counsellor for the European Society of Vascular.
He has also recently contributed to prestigious vascular journals such as the British Medical Journal and the European Journal of Endovascular Surgery.
