A/Prof Vicaretti qualified through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in General Surgery (1999) and Vascular Surgery (2001).
He is the Head of Vascular Surgery at Western Sydney Local Health District and is the former head examiner of vascular surgery for the RACS.
In 2001, he was awarded a PhD from The University of Sydney.
A/Prof Vicaretti has a long history of research in vascular diseases with many articles and book chapter publications.
